A thousand ways to die! - Nigerians react as Police advice citizens on what to do when officer want to search them

- The Nigeria Police rendered a fresh advice to Nigerians

- According to the police, it is the right procedure before a search operation can be carried out by its personnel

The Nigeria Police Force has enlightened Nigerians on how what to do whenever they are accosted by police officers.

The police through its official Twitter handle urged Nigerians to always request to search officers who want to search their houses or cars.

The police noted that the process is the right procedure before a search operation can be carried out by its personnel.

However, the police advice which has gained much traction did not go well with Nigerians.

Some Nigerians warned fellow citizens not to take the advice.

A Twitter user, @tickin_clocks rhetorically said: "Imagine me searching SARS".

Another user described the advise as one thousand ways to die in Nigeria.
