Exposed! Jammeh caught on tape begging Ellen Sirleaf for assistance (video) Yahya Jammeh

Earlier, reported that President Yahya Jammeh of Gambia had failed in his bid to stop the inauguration of president-elect Adama Barrow on January 19, 2017.

This was because Gambia's chief of justice, Emmanuel Fagbenle said he will not rule on an injunction by the ruling party, Alliance for Patriotic Reorientation and Construction (APRC), seeking to stop the inauguration Adama Barrow.

It seems that Yahya is not ready to accept defeat. According to Vanguard, the Gambian president was caught on video in a telephone conversation with the Chairperson of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.

During the phone call, Jammeh begged for assistance of ECOWAS to facilitate the release of judges to hear the case where he wants the inauguration of President-elect, Barrow restrained.

Yahya during the phone call, insisted that the only possible peaceful resolution was through the courts.

He said: "I request for an injunction to restrain Adama Barrow from being sworn in and to stop the Chief Judge or any other party from swearing him in."

Below is a video of the call he made:
