Crystal Palace are lining up an £11million bid for Burnley striker Ashley Barnes who has 18 months left on his contract.

Barnes has been an unlikely target for Chelsea this window but is unlikely to join the reigning Premier League champions.

Roy Hodgson also remains interested in Lille's Ibrahim Amadou and West Brom midfielder Jake Livermore.

The Palace boss has already completed the signing of centre-back Jaroslaw Jach on a three-and-a-half-year deal earlier this week but is keen to bolster his defensive ranks with the addition of Amadou.

Following Christian Benteke's hit-and-miss form this season, Palace have also been linked with a move for West Ham's out-of-favour striker Diafra Sakho.

However, the Senegalese forward passed a medical on Sunday evening ahead of a £9million move to Ligue 1 side Rennes.

The south-London side could also miss out on Moussa Dembele as Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers insists that the Frenchman is 'fully committed' to the Scottish champions and won't be leaving the club this window.
