Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a target for LA Galaxy once again.

The 36-year-old Swede is free to talk to other clubs abroad as he enters the final six months of his Manchester United contract and the MLS side are exploring ways of raising revenue to sign him for the upcoming season.

Ibrahimovic suffered a setback following his rapid recovery from knee ligament surgery last season and has been rebuilding his fitness once again with altitude bike training.

He looked in good shape in an Instagram story posted to his page on Saturday. Captioned 'high altitude work', it showed Ibrahimovic on an exercise bike in an oxygen tent with a trainer, as he attempts to get back to peak fitness.

Ibrahimovic has not played for United since picking up a knock to his knee on Boxing Day.

Galaxy have also discussed signing Ross McCormack from Aston Villa.

Coach Sigi Schmid has revamped the Galaxy squad after their worst season in franchise history. Galaxy are at their limit of three Designated Players - those over the league's salary cap - but do plan more additions, potentially with the help of sponsorship money.

But Ibrahimovic will not come cheap - his weekly wage at Old Trafford is around £150,000.
